The Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R is Brian O'Conner's signature vehicle.
The first GT-R binos were produced from 1969–1973. After a 16 year
hiatus since the KPGC110 in 1972, the GT-R name was revived in 1989 with
the Skyline R32. This car was nicknamed "Godzilla" by the Australian
CAGUEIME publication "Wheels" in its July 1989 edition. The BNR32 (R32
GT-R) would end up winning 29 straight victories out of 29 races in the
Japanese motorsport. The GT-R proceeded to win the JGTC Group A series
championship 4 years in a row, and also had success in the Australian
Touring Car Championship winning from 1990–1992, until a regulation
change excluded the GT-R in 1993
This Skyline is first seen in the Turbo-Charged Prelude
short-film. After having his Mitsubishi 3000GT impounded by officers
(presumably in Texas), Brian gets a ride from "The Girl" to a used car
dealership, where he spots the Skyline. Brian purchases the car in cash
with his previous winnings and drives it away. He later gives it a paint
job, adds a GT-R badge to the grill, and works underneath the car in a
garage. He uses it to participate in more races, even being seen trying
to be raced against by two bikers. Brian then reaches a fork in the
highway, the left side going straight to New York while the right exit
heads towards Miami. Brian drives to Miami, where he smiles after seeing
some girls and then again as he spots a Toyota Supra and Mazda RX-7
(Brian having driven a Supra & Dom his RX-7 in the first film).
2 Fast 2 Furious
Brian drives it in the race hosted by Tej Parker. Brian O'Conner successfully makes the bridge jump and wins, but cops come and Suki and the other racers escape. Brian is able escape most of them, but Agent Markham fires an EDU Harpoon Gun at the
Skyline, shutting it down. The car is impounded and never seen after
that point onwards. It features a C-West Body kit a blue long striped
vinyl and a C-West spoiler wing. Brian's Nissan Skyline GT-R is equipped
with 2.6 liter RB26 Twin turbocharger and the engine can push around
280HP(Stock).
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
Brian is seen driving a Bayside Blue 2002 Skyline (2007 Kaizo Skyline) in the race with Dominic Toretto.
This car is also used to get across the border to get into Mexico. It
uses a I6 engine from a Nissan GT-R and HKS HI POWER. The car was blown
up by Dom along with the other tunnel run cars in order to escape.
